Work continues on new Armadale, Gosnells stations

18/03/2004

Construction of the new railway stations at Armadale and Gosnells is continuing despite the incumbent contractor, Consolidated Constructions, being placed under voluntary administration.

The Public Transport Authority is negotiating with Broad Construction Services to complete the work at Armadale, and with Lakis Constructions to complete the work at Gosnells.

Both companies will be conducting preliminary on-site work over the next few weeks.  Negotiations are expected to be completed next month, at which time the PTA will be able to announce revised completion dates.
