Aboriginal Art Opportunities
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) would like to further engage staff and highlight its commitment and connection to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, through multi-layered Aboriginal art and design projects, aligned with the PTA operations and the State Government’s METRONET projects.
Current Calls for Expressions of Interest
The Public Transport Authority is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from Aboriginal artists for three commissions for the newly redeveloped Perth Station Forecourt. The EOI is open to artists to create sculptural and mural-based artworks that will become welcoming landmarks at this important historic site and gateway to Perth. Aboriginal artists are encouraged to apply for all three commission opportunities, and in particular for Commission 3 – Underpass Mural and Station Collars, which is exclusively for Aboriginal artists.
