Stirling Bus Interchange

The Stirling Bus Interchange, adjoining Stirling Station and the Mitchell Freeway will undergo a $90 million upgrade.

The project includes upgrading the existing 18-stand facility to a 29-stand bus interchange, along with the construction of a new pedestrian concourse between Stirling Station and the southern car park.

The Stirling Bus Interchange works will be undertaken by Main Roads as part of the Stephenson Avenue Extension Project. Further details on the project can be found on the Main Roads website.

Southern car park access changes

From Saturday, 5 September 2026 access to the southern car park at Stirling Station will change.

A new access point will open on Cedric Street allowing passengers to enter and exit in both directions.

The existing car park access from Stephenson Avenue will permanently change to a left-in, left-out only arrangement. The temporary right-turn movement into the car park will be removed.
