Description:

Three metre tall pyramid-shaped sculptural skylights at the end of each platform combine form with function. The skylights can be appreciated from above and below ground – and are a source of natural light during the day and are lit up from within at night. The artwork took inspiration from the Lakes Aperture skylight to reflect that Perth Station is located on the former Lake Kingsford. The refracted light with the rhythms of the place, encouraging all who pass below to take in the moment and enjoy the journey.
