Description:

The idea of celebrating the places that people in the Cockburn Central community love is fairly simple. An online survey asked where people live, where they go regularly by train, where they love to go by train, and by other means, and what landmarks they love. Ten most loved sites were chosen and painted on site in small slices which are begun at regular intervals. In this way one can see the changing light, the changing weather and one has an appreciation of how the landscape changes during the day, as people come and leave, and one has a greater appreciation of how the landscape restores and replenishes the people who enjoy it.
