World-renowned Perth artist Stormie Mills completed this piece of urban art with local youths and special guest artists from Britain, Remi and TiMiD.
Artist/s Statement:
A light and bright contemporary pop urban artwork created with influences of Andy Warhol and Howard Arkley. It was conceptualised by Stormie Mills and painted by Stormie and Remi Rough using photographic images created by Hank Kordas and TiMiD. Most of the 27 faces depict people who live within two blocks of the footbridge. Some photographic portraits were also taken at Rockingham City Shopping Centre by Hank Kordas, as well as portraits taken by the footbridge, on location during the installation of the artwork by TiMiD.
