Temporary closure of Armadale platforms at McIver Train Station

25 September 2003

Temporary closure of Armadale platforms at McIver Train Station

Due to work being undertaken to improve McIver Train Station, the Armadale line platforms will be closed from 7 October 2003 until 10 November 2003.

The improvements will include:

  • Upgrade of station facilities;
  • Modifications to existing shelters; and
  • Modification to platform heights

Trains will not stop and passengers will not be able to use these platforms to board or exit Armadale trains at McIver Station during this time.

Armadale Passengers are requested to use Perth Station as the transfer point by using Midland services to and from McIver Train Station.

A shuttle bus service will not be in operation, as transferring trains will prove a faster alternative.

Transperth regrets any inconvenience.
