There are a variety of works required in preparation for the roll-out of the High Capacity Signalling (HCS) Project. These works will be undertaken within signalling equipment rooms, at associated railway operational facilities, and at certain locations along the rail corridor.
To minimise disruption to passenger services, much of this work is required to take place outside of standard construction hours (i.e. before 7am, after 7pm, Sunday or on a public holiday).
For upcoming out-of-hours works, PTA and our delivery partners endeavour to provide hard-copy letters with as much information as possible. However, we recognise that work schedules can change and opportunities may arise following delivery of these letters.
Rather than send multiple physical letters in a short timeframe, all current work dates will be posted in the schedule below, to give our communities as much information as possible about upcoming out-of-hours works.
