Take Transwa to the Royal Show
Transwa is the best way for families living in regional WA to get to Perth for the Royal Show.
Spokesman David Hynes said big discounts were available for kids travelling on Transwa services.
“We love seeing families out and about in our great State, so we're making it even more affordable to take your kids to events like the Perth Royal Show,” he said.
“With Transwa's family fare, kids can ride for 75 per cent off the regular fare when travelling as a family that has between two and four children.
Just use the code 'family' when booking online.”
“Plus, if you travel to Perth on any Transwa service, you can use that ticket to travel free on Transperth trains all day.”
All coach services, as well as the Prospector and MerredinLink arrive at East Perth Station, which links to the Fremantle Line for most services. The AvonLink arrives at Midland Station and trains on that line connect to the Fremantle Line (on which Showgrounds Station is located).
The Australind drops passengers at Perth Station where they can easily change to the Fremantle Line or a Royal Show Special departing from Platform Seven.
