Platform changes for footy fans – Perth Stadium Station

Joondalup and Fremantle Line platforms at Perth Stadium Station are changing over.

From Saturday (May 5), Fremantle Line trains will leave from Platform 3 and Joondalup Line trains from Platform 4.

The change is being made after a series of reviews following recent events at Optus Stadium.

It is hoped the change will help the movement of trains out of the railway sidings more quickly, ensuring the smoother movement of passengers away from the station.

The platform changes will not affect the queuing arrangements out the front of the station – Joondalup and Fremantle Line passengers should both queue to enter the station as per usual.
