It’s Show time! With extra Transperth services, and ... FamilyRider!!

Transperth will be boosting services next week to cater for the thousands of people seeking to avoid parking and traffic problems getting to and from the Perth Royal Show.

And Transperth’s FamilyRider* ticket may be one off the best value rides on offer – it entitles two adults and up to five kids to travel to and from the Show for just $11.

There will be additional train services and expanded capacity on timetabled services on all lines throughout the long weekend and on the final day of the Show, and a frequent shuttle running between the Perth and Showgrounds stations every day.  The timings vary slightly, reflecting the weekday, weekend and Sunday/public holiday timetables.

Precise details of the various daily timings are available through the Transperth website (www.transperth.wa.gov.au) or by calling the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428.1999).

*The $11 FamilyRider allows unlimited system-wide travel for two standard fares and up to five concession fares on weekends, public holidays and after 9am (8.30am in Zones 5 to 7) on weekdays.  The cash tickets, which are not available through SmartRider, can be bought from bus drivers or at train stations and ticket machines.  They will also be on sale at a special kiosk at Showgrounds Station.
