Location Detail: Artwork is applied to the soffit of three shade canopies immediately to the South of the station, over the path linking the station to the bus interchange.

Medium: Digital artwork on compressed fibre-cement

Description:

Applied to the underside of the Yanchep entry shade canopies, Buffie Punch’s artwork showcases the native fauna and flora including the Yandjet (bulrushes) found abundantly throughout the area. The design represents the concept of meeting - reflected in the nearby town centre, the coming together of families and the Yanchep community. The bottom of the design represents the Yanchep lagoon and beaches, including the reef and various marine life.
