Concreto (Margaret Dillon)

Title: Step by Colour

Artist/s: Concreto (Margaret Dillon)

Year: 2024

Site: Eglinton Station

Location Detail: Artistic tiling applied to station walls flanking stairs and platform.

Medium: Ceramic Tiles

Description:

Concreto’s tile based artwork was informed by the experience of walking the Yaberoo Budjara Heritage Trail and Yanchep National Park. The work moves from the ocean through to the Tuart Forest, with the landscape offering rhythmic colour sequences to express this change in environment, and to echo the experience of walking these unique landscapes.

The PTA acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises  the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are advised that this site may contain images or names of people who are deceased.
