Trains stopped temporarily by road accident

11/02/2004

Train services on the Fremantle line between Showgrounds Station and Fremantle will be suspended from about 10.15am to 10.45am this morning because of a power shutdown.

The power is being cut at the request of the Fire and Emergency Services Authority, which is working to right a petrol tanker which overturned on a road adjacent to the rail line in Mosman Park.

Transperth expects normal services to resume by 10.45am and apologises for any inconvenience the temporary suspension may cause.
