Transwa Albany Booking Centre Relocation

Work is complete to relocate Transwa’s Albany booking centre, previously located in the railway station building on Proudlove Parade. 

In 2018 the Albany Visitor Centre and Public Library relocated from the station building to new premises on York Street. With lease of the station building taken over by the University of Western Australia, Transwa’s Albany booking centre has moved to a new site directly opposite its previous location.       

The project included:

• Civil and road works to create a coach access lane and staff parking
• Construction of a new transportable booking centre building with a coach canopy and minor landscaping
• Relocation of the current booking centre into the new premises

Transwa road coaches begin operating from the new booking centre in June 2019.
