Description:

This mural design celebrates the native flora of Victoria Park, narrating a story of seasonal change through symbolic imagery and curated colour palettes. It follows the life cycle of the Lesser Wanderer butterfly, illustrating growth and transformation across the seasons. The North-East wall is divided into four sections, each representing a season, with transitions depicted through colour and imagery, such as eucalyptus flowers, Milkmaids, and the iconic WA Christmas Tree. The South-West wall offers a simplified summary, harmonizing with the overall narrative. This design complements the space’s architecture while fostering community pride and connection to the natural environment through a vibrant depiction of nature's cycles.
