Artist/s Statement:

This garden panorama is integrated into the walls along the station's staircase and platform, featuring sculptural flowr forms.  Exploring the theme of the garden, the artists' design is collaged with drawing by year six students from Yale Primary School.  Through workshops with Whadjuk Elder, Marie Taylor, students learnt about native plants, bush tucker and flowers used for medicinal purposes.  The students had the opportunity to design and create their own garden plot, including real and imagined creatures and plants that inhabited the space.
