Bassendean Station upgrade: Closure of station access from underpass - 17 May 2004

Access to the Bassendean Train Station platform from the underpass at the Midland end of the station will be closed as of 17 May 2004.

This will enable work on the Bassendean Station platform upgrade to be completed.

Station platform access is available via the existing overpass.

Access to the platform from the underpass will remain closed to establish a single point of entry for the station which will improve security and complement the future introduction of a new ticketing system with fare gates.

The underpass will continue to provide access under the rail lines between Railway Parade and Guildford Road.

For further information, please call (08) 9326 2726 during normal business hours.

The Public Transport Authority of Western Australia appreciates your understanding during construction and apologises for any inconvenience.
