Trains the smart Show move

Transperth is offering probably the best value ride in town during the Perth Royal Show.

With FamilyRider tickets costing just $12.80, you and the family can get to and from , and still have plenty of cash left to buy showbags.

Transperth spokesman David Hynes said Show Week is the busiest single week on the Transperth calendar.

“Public transport really is the best way to get to the Show so you don’t spend half the day searching for a park or jammed in traffic on your way there or home,” Mr Hynes said.

“With bus feeder services connecting to most stations, thousands of car parking spaces available across the rail network and all Fremantle Line services stopping at Showgrounds Station during the event, there are plenty of ways to get to the show that are easier than driving.”

FamilyRider tickets allow two standard (full fare) and five concession holders to travel on Transperth trains, buses and ferries from 9am weekdays (8.30am Zones 5 to 9) and all day Saturday/Sunday and public holidays – undoubtedly the best value ride you’ll pay for all day.

Additional train services will be operating on the Fremantle Line to ensure the ride is as comfortable and speedy as possible for all Transperth passengers.
