Disruptions to Midland Line Train Services 14 January 2004 – 21 January 2004

Transperth wishes to advise that the Midland Line will be closed between Midland and Bassendean Stations from 12.30pm Wednesday 14 January 2004 until 4.30am Wednesday 21 January 2004 due to track works.

As a result, the last through train to Midland on Wednesday 14 January 2004 will depart Perth Station at 11.45am.  The last through train to Perth will depart Midland Station at 12.15pm.

Rail replacement bus service 505 will pick up commuters at the red rail replacement stops near train stations between Bassendean and Midland Stations.

The journey will take longer so please allow extra travelling time. Patrons are encouraged to travel a service earlier, in order to ensure that onward train and bus connections are maintained.

Please note that surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses.

Normal train services will resume from 5.00am on Wednesday 21 January 2004.
