CEO's overview
As our city and state continue to grow, safe and reliable public transport services are more important than ever.
The vision for Perth is for public transport to become the preferred travel option to Perth’s CBD, strategic centres and throughout the metropolitan area. In order to make this happen, the State Government is focused on managing the passenger network to ensure the greatest efficiencies are achieved in terms of capacity and connectivity. Also, significant funding has been allocated to expand the network. This investment includes expansion of the train and bus fleets and services.
The Perth City Link project continues on time and on budget with completion expected in mid-2016. The temporary bus stations on Roe and Wellington streets began operating successfully this year, and the second entry to the new Perth Busport was recently confirmed.
