The second Right Track Dance Party took place on Friday 18 March at Gosnells PCYC and this time we were joined by a special guest! Rail Safety Ambassador Jonathan Beninca who is in Perth to deliver rail safety presentations to young people in the area, also attended on the night. Not only did Jonathan speak to the youth about the importance of staying safe on and around public transport and the consequences of risk taking behaviour, he also got involved with some of the games and activities – which included choosing the best boy and girl dancer on the night.

If you have been following us on social media over the last few weeks then you will be aware of the short film that we have released telling the story of the circumstances leading up to the night that Jonathan Beninca decided to trespass on the rail network and vandalise a train.

Rail Safety Ambassador Jonathan Beninca has spent the last week working his way around many schools and youth organisations in Perth. Jonathan is here to start the conversation with young people about rail safety and the consequences of taking risks. 

To coincide with Jonathan Beninca’s visit to Western Australia next week, is the release of a short film that tells Jonathan’s story. Working with Elephant Productions, we have re-created the circumstances leading up to the night that Jonathan decided to trespass on the rail network and vandalise a train.
