Do you know an aspiring Street Artist?

Thursday, 27 February 2014

In April, as part of Form's 2014 PUBLIC street art festival, Perth will be bursting at the seams with talented, internationally renowned street artists.

Right Track and the City of Subiaco are working with Form to involve young people in an amazing opportunity and help transform the West Leederville station underpass through art.

During National Youth Week in April, two internationally renowned artists, 'Ever' from Argentina and 'Gaia' from New York, will be running a workshop, giving young people the chance to show off their skills and maybe even learn some new ones.

To win a place in this highly coveted workshop, people aged 12 – 25 are encouraged to submit an A3 piece of artwork based around one of Right Track's key messages.

Participants can choose one of the following key message to base their artwork on:

‘Tag on, Tag off, Don’t Tag the Trains’

‘Is a shortcut really worth it?’

‘You can’t rewind your actions, but we can’

Artwork can be any style and will be judged on artistic merit; however it must reflect one of the three messages.

Artwork entries must be submitted by Monday 31 March.

All entries will feature on the Right Track website and Stay off the Track facebook page. The top 10 artwork entries will be selected by a judging panel and will be offered a place in the workshop.

The workshop will be held at The Corner Gallery in Subiaco on Thursday the 10th of April between 4pm and 7pm with dinner and all materials provided.

Please send all submissions through to
therighttrack@pta.wa.gov.au or post them to:
