Vibrant community centres in Bayswater and Forrestfield are a step closer with the formal establishment of redevelopment area boundaries, together with Midland, forming the new METRONET East projects.

METRONET's Forrestfield-Airport Link is continuing to take off with Airport Central Station now at 70 per cent completion and work on the Skybridge linking Perth Airport and the future train station almost finished.

The year 2020 will mark a major milestone for the project: the end of tunnelling.
